Tocher des Praesidenten Dos Santos, auf einigen tausend Hektar wird Zuckerrohr fuer Produktion von Zucker und Bioethanol angebaut, die Zuckerfabrik ist im Bau und soll 240.000 Tonnen Zucker pro Jahr herstellen, dazu kommen 30 Millionen Liter Ethanol und 70 Megwatt Strom aus Bagasse von einem Biomassekraftwerk, Plantage und Zuckerfabrik sollen 1470 Menschen beschaeftigen, John Deere Erntemaschine bei Ernte von Zuckerrohr
